The food is neo-traditional Mayan and the drinks are tastey and innovative. Reserve a table upstairs overlooking the street. Beautiful atmosphere and cordial personal service. Excellent bartender, wait staff and management. Highly recommended.

Ejidal between 65 y 70 - Playa del Carmen Telephone - 984-803-2936 An unbelievablly elegant restaurant and lounge located in an ancient, beautifully-lighted cavern for dramatic effect. It's a little off the beaten track, but well worth the taxi ride, and the food's great.

Chango's food is tantalizing, whether it's breakfast, lunch or dinner, and the ambiance is truly unique and wonderful. A great choice for breakfast.
